On our second anniversary, I want to reflect on and celebrate the growth over this past year. DMC Law started 2021 as a company of one. We are ending the year as a team of four; four fiercely dedicated, intelligent and hard-working women who love working together. Meet the team:
Nathaly Tamayo
Nathaly joined DMC Law as a law clerk in May shortly after graduating from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration in health law. At QUSOL, Nathaly was the president of the health law society and the Business and Alumni Affairs Editor for Quinnipiac’s probate journal. She participated in externships with the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the Community Health Center, Inc. As an undergraduate, Nathaly studied criminal justice at the University of Scranton.
Nathaly loves dogs, winter hiking in the snow and kayaking. She also loves doing research for and writing blog posts with Dena (this last one may not be true, but I tell myself that it is!).
Tracy Guarnieri
Tracy joined DMC Law as Counsel in June and instantly added breadth to DMC Law’s practice with her extensive research compliance experience including sponsored projects, human subjects, animal research and conflicts of interest. Most recently, Tracy was the General Counsel and Privacy Officer at a large federally qualified health center. Like Nathaly, Tracy graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration in Health Law (thanks to QUSOL for the fantastic people) and she got her undergraduate degree at Barnard College.
Tracy loves sailing, surfing, skiing and snowboarding, reading, baking, spending time with her family and dog. She makes fantastic pumpkin pie, and she also fixed our weed trimmer earlier this year. Invaluable skills.
Jennifer Colafrancesco
Jennifer rounded out the DMC Law team this year when she joined in August as our Director of Operations and Training. Her title should really be “Chief Miscellaneous Officer,” as she does it all – day to day operations, finance, marketing, HR, etc. She’s the glue that holds us all together and keeps things running smoothly. Most recently, Jennifer was a Software Education Specialist at a local software development company. She also is an amazingly talented musician and my wife.
Jennifer loves working with me, spending time with me and baking for me (OK, so that’s what I think she would say). Also, she makes a killer cheesecake!
I am so grateful to have such a talented, dedicated and hard-working team. You’ll learn more about them in early 2022 when our new website is launched, and we post bios and new photos.
